My Japanese learning is really coming along nicely. I have completely learnt all of the Hiragana alphabet and I am about 70% of the way there with the Katakana alphabet. Japanese is something I’ve always wanted to learn and one day I would love to make a visit to Japan.

Soon. That’s how that title finishes. Readers from the start (probably very little) will know I’m currently doing a web design course and also studying Japanese too. Both of which are progressing nicely. Too the point that I do not want to take too much on at once and beginning development on P2011 could be a handful and trying to juggling all 3 wouldn’t be easy.
This is why the development for P2011 is to begin in September. I thought I would just clarify this as I know there are some readers wondering why this was set to September when all the design plans are done and dusted.
Project 2011 – MS Update

All planning stages for P2011 (Project 2011) are now complete and development work is scheduled to begin in September. Development work is estimated to last around 4 months with the possibility of a ‘lite’ version being released after 2-3 months.
A quick update about Mashed Studios – the website will not launch July 31st. This is because I have decided to redesign the whole site to a more ‘modern and simpler’ design. The delay is also due to the fact a substantial more amount of time then I had planned has been spent on P2011.

Project 2011 is the code name for the App I am currently working on. As you can guess by the name it will be released next year but there may be a lite version released around the holiday season.
All the major design work has now been completed with just a few little areas needing some more input. Code work for the App won’t begin for a while yet as their are other projects in the pipeline that need finishing off or totally redesigned. Some that even need to go from ideas to designed.

Hello everyone, just a few minor updates to point out about the site and Mashed Studios Ltd.
- Mashed Studios is still set for a July 31st launch.
- The first project is still in the very early design stages.
- I have updated the video games page to reflect what I’m now playing.

Making it official

So after a long debate with myself and a discussion on GameDev with several members, I have decided to stick with Mashed Studios. To make it official I have legally registered the company name. You can expect Mashed Studios Ltd to launch on July 31st. I can also reveal that the first project will be for the iPhone and early design stages are in progress.
